RAM state after wd reset?

Hi all experts

What happens with the RAM of a F2803x after an WD reset? Thinking of the following example:

1. I have a RAM part that I am 100 % sure that it is unused by my normal code.

2. I fill the RAM part with a known pattern.

3. A wd reset is done.

4. The processor starts up again. What will be the state of the RAM part described above?

A Watchdog reset will perform a reset of just about everything (minus the PLL setting) on the device. Your RAM contents will reset too. Hence, we normally copy senctions from Flash to RAM during the initial configuration.

I beg to differ. RAM contents would be unchanged by a watchdog reset.
