synchronizing eCAP

Hello,

I'm using eCAP on Delfino dual.

The question is:

can I synchronize eCAP counter with external sync signal ?

    Hi Mauro,

    I believe you're using a F2837xD MCU.

    If so, the way I would do this is:
    External signal -> some unused IO pin -> INPUTXBAR (define as input 5 or 6) -> SYNCHSELECAP1SYNCIN -> ECAP synchronization

    You'll find more details on this in the Technical Reference Manual. From revision C of the TRM you should specifically find Figure 7-5 (Input X-BAR) and Figure 13-7 (Time-Base Counter Synchronization Scheme 4) useful.
