Hi,

I am trying to find the current rating for the 3.3V/5V supply voltage pin on the f28335 docking station. I looked through the datasheet, and found maximum clamp current is 20mA, recommeded operating condition 4mA for I/Os. Does these ratings apply to the supply voltage pins? Thank you!

    Hi Haoyi,

    If you check the schematics of docking station, 5V is derived from USB or external supply & 3.3V from TPS79533 part number.
    C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\~ExperimentersKits\DIM100ExperimentersKit-HWdevPkg_v2_0\R3

    Hence, 5V depends on motherboard USB sourcing current typically around 100mA.
