On element14 They are showing same product with different name and different prices

Please let me know what is the difference and which should we purchase for energy measurement application.

1.

TEXAS INSTRUMENTS  LAUNCHXL-F28027F  DEV BOARD, C2000, PICCOLO LAUNCHPAD (Rs1636)

2.

TEXAS INSTRUMENTS  LAUNCHXL-F28027  C2000, PICCOLO, LAUNCHPAD, EVAL BOARD (Rs 1561)

  • Hi Ashutosh,

Both of them are same.. the only difference being the controller part number with functionality.
    1. F28027 is the regular controller
    2. F28027F is the same part with Instaspin-FOC embedded (This is required for Motor Control Applications)

So if you're not into motor control you don't require a F28027F based launchpad.
