F28069: Create N pulses from PWM

Hi all,

In my project, i need create N pulses and stop PWM automatically. but in the reference guide i can't find the register control this.

Hi Phien,

Can you be more specfic on what do you mean by N pulses?

Hi Gautam,

N: numbers of pulse i want PWM create, such as when i press a button, PWM will only generate 10 pulses (N=10) with a given duty and frequency.

I had a similar problem. I use 2 modules ePwm. First as a generator (CLK 6MHz) and the second as a gating signal. Synchronized PWM output signals you should connect to the additional AND gate.

Hi,

There is no hardware register to track the number of pulses in EPWM directly. You need to keep track of the same in s/w and turn off.
