For TMS320F28027 I need to connect external crystal oscillator

Hi Ashu,

No you cannot use external crystal with TSSOP package. It does not have the provision.

DA, PT etc are package variations and the last T,S & R are temperature variations. Q is for automotive grade.

Q1) The F2802x device needs a 3.3V power rail.  A second voltage (1.8V) is needed by the device.  This 1.8V can [1] be generated via an LDO inside the F2802x device or [2] it can be given externally.  The second row is Gautam's table is the specification for the 1.8V rail if it is provided externally.
