With a customer's PC, I cannot perform download of Debug to F28377D using XDS200 and CCS6.1.0.

Hello,

With a customer's PC, I cannot perform download of Debug to F28377D using XDS200 and CCS6.1.0.

What can you consider as a cause?

Two COM ports of XDS2xx recognize in the device manager of Windows.

In other PCs, I am satisfactory using the XDS200.

Moreover, by XDS100, I can use it without a problem with the PC.

The following is an error message.

Someone should teach a hint.

  • Hi Hidetaka-san,

Is the CCS on Customer's PC have a FULL License? or is it a Free License?

    Regards,
    Gautam
  • Hello, Gautam-san.

The CCS license of the PC is a license now on the 90th.
However, the license file of a full license acquires.
Even if it puts the license file into "C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\DebugServer\license", a license setup of CCS will not change from a license on the 90th.
Please let me know what in the case of a cause, this should do.

    Regards, Hidetaka.
  • The XDS200 can be used with an evaluation license or full license. In this case, if the customer has an Evaluation License (and not Free Limited License) they should be ok in terms of license.

As far as the connection error, it could stem from the fact the XDS200 is either not being properly recognized by Windows or CCS cannot communicate with the XDS200 due to some other reason. Can you check if the driver is correctly reported in Device Manager?

If you search the forums using the error text you will find a few threads where other users have hit similar issues. These may have additional tips and suggestions for troubleshooting.
