f28069 SCI- A using docking station

Thanks for replying so should I just connect j9 and try to run the echo back example or is there something else I have to change in the code? And I should point out that I'm not using j2(jtag) connector. And when I connect the board I can see the com port. But when I run it I can transmit to pc but can't receive

As you're able to see the COM Port, RX should be working too. Can you check the RX signal on DSO? Check whether you can observe any waveform or not?

Okay I will check that but I still haven't connect the j9 connector. Could that be a possible problem

And where should I check for the waveform. Which signal is DSO? And I'm using gpio 28 and 29 should I change that too

hiwot can you share the schematic of board where J9 is present. I don't have the same and hence don't know whether to place or not. Even the board name is enough ie the name printed on the board itself.

DSO = Digital Signal Oscilloscope :)

So please check the RX signal on an oscilloscope.
