I am working on signal intergrity analysis of TMS320F28376D and SDRAM for whcih i have to use IBIS model of both these parts.

I have downloaded the IBIS model of TMS320F28376D delfino controller from TI website but this model is showing the required EMIF1 GPIO pins as input pins and not as input/output pins.

Please send me the latest IBIS model for the TMS320F28376D delfino controller.

The TMS320F28376D IBIS model that you are referring to - which package are you looking at?

The package is 337 ball ZWT package of IC TMS320F28377DZWTQ.

Thanks, we are expecting updated IBIS files for this IC later this week, I will add this one to be checked/updated. I will let you know when to expect the corrected file.

Hi Peter,

I just realized that I have made a slight mistake in the part number. The part that I am using is TMS320F28377D. Does the IBIS model remain same for parts TMS320F28376D and TMS320F28377D? Please send me the updated IBIS model for part number TMS320F28377D. The EMIF interface seems to be the same for this part too. But it would be great if you could send me the updated IBIS model of TMS320F28377D.

Arjun,

All TMS320F2837x parts in ZWT (337-pin) package share he same IBIS file. You can use the one I sent you yesterday, these files should also show up on TI website shortly.

Hi Peter,

I have check the updated model you sent. The problem is not solved yet. The data pins of EMIF1 can be configured as only input and not as Input/Output.

Please make the required changes and send me the updated IBIS model of TMS320F28377D.

When can I expect the updated model?

We do not understand the issue. The ibis models seem to be correct. Please find attached the pdf with simulation results waveform. Page 10 has the IN and PAD waveform in driver mode.

Could you double-check that you are choosing the correct model for BCF3385D* which is the commonly used buffer type for EMIF data. Please try to select BCF3385D_DRIVER_MODE model for BCF3385DSHYPBFZ component.
