problem with automatic stoping of controller

i implemented inverter control algorithm using simulink on F28335 using target specific blocks. auto generated code working fine on board, as i can see expected result on physical scope. After 6 minutes controller automatically stops performing control action. I haven't configured any such things. what can be the reason behind this?

Hi Ashish,

If you place an oscilloscope probe on the XRSn pin, does the stop in control correspond to a toggle of the reset pin?

i am using F28335 experiment kit. XRS pin is not connected to any jumper. So, please suggest a way to visualize it.

Probe it on the common point of R17 and C34.

Gautam,
No XRS pin is not changing its' state. It is continuously high.
P.S. can this be due to PID controller or ADC module?

questions:
1) you program the flash of the f28335 with the code generated with simulink?
2) The controller runs without connection with the computer?
3) After 6 min running it stop?
4) This is a custom board?

Yes, if XRS pin does not change during this shut off then.... controller is still live and stuck somewhere else. Check your routines. Also, if you dump a sample code from controlSuite you can verify this behavior.

Can you check in the simulink configuration parameter what value has the stop time for the simulation?

Have you tried flashing the uC with other program and checking if you have the same error? This is to discard hardware problems. Another option will be to test a simulink example for your target processor and look if you have the same problem.

when you said "examples", did you mean Simulink examples? If this is the case then look for differences in the configurations parameters.
