Bridgeless PFC DemoKit and Progam

Does there exist a Calculation Excel sheet showing how the PFC Current Loop and Voltage Loop compensators were derived ?

I currently have a Bridgeless Interleaved PFC working that is controlled with UCC28070 Controller and I have purchased the Bridgeless PFC demo kit with the goal of  converting to digital control. Looking for guidance on program changes or  coefficient changes to  Current Loop and Voltage loop 2P2Z blocks?

  • There is no Excel sheet available for this. But we have model equations for interleaved PFC which will also work for this bridgeless PFC. Please see the attached paper for the current loop model equation.

    Another way to do it is to download our Interleaved PFC with PowerSUITE. You can find this in TI ControlSUITE:

    C:\TI\controlSUITE\development_kits\ILPFC_v1.1

    Then use the control design GUI available on this PowerSUITE solution. The control designer will allow you to enter the power stage parameters and then design the digital controller.

    I have looked at the Compensation designer in Power Suite but it's not clear how to enter the power stage parameters
