CCS can't program device

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi,

I have an odd problem. I am new to CCS and have successfully finnished a project involving a motordriver using the kit drv8301-hc-evm and the 28069M module. My software is working great, but now I just had to program the device with the release and run the mcu stand alone. But nono. There seems to be no way of doing this? This must be an error of course? It can't be that I have to carry a computer with this motordriver to use it? I come from the Microchip devices where the workflow is far more easy for me, probably because I am used to it. Can someone explain to me how to make a release of the project? How do I program the device? From what I have tried that don't work is the create Target and Load to the device from within CCS. Also I have tried to use the external tool CCS UniFlash. It shows success when loading the flash, but the software never begins. It is still waiting for a press on the little debug play button I guess? This is all very confusing. Is it not possible to use this device without a debug environment connected to it? I must be doing something terribly wrong or maybe I'm just blind for the options.

Help, anyone?

Br,

Mikael
