Error connecting to the target on LAUNCHXL-F28069M (Test connection fail and Error -1135 @ 0x0 )

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28069M, TMS320F28069

I have the LAUNCHXL-F28069M. All the jumpers are "ON" except for JP6 as shown in the figure. The board is powered by a USB cable.

I am new to piccolo boards and trying to follow the multi-day workshop materials for F28069M:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C2000_Archived_Workshops#F28069_Workshops

Although I don't have the  F28069 Experimenter’s Kit, I am told that it will work fine. I gave the connection as "Texas Instruments xds100v2 usb emulator" and tried both TMS320F28069 and Experimenter’s Kit – Piccolo F28069 as the device or board. However when I try to do the test connection, I get this report which says "The JTAG DR Integrity scan-test has failed" at the end. I don't know why there is no option called LAUNCHXL-F28069M.

The launchPad does not seem to connect to the PC properly. I installed CCSv6 without the antivirus protection. Just to check, I tried to debug the corrected Lab2.c in the multi-day workshop and got the following error message:

What should I do? Could anyone help please?
