f28377d current rates

Hi everyone,

I am wondering one thing and no time to try it so just wanted to ask here.

Does the mcu draw less current while it is in delay function? Normally when I was running both of the cpus the current rate is between 500 and 600 mA. But if there is a delay in the loop is the current below the normal operation rate?

Thank you

Have a nice day.

Nothing like that and it should not be like that! Are you experiencing the same?

  • Actually the active current in device depends on the no. of state transitions happening inside device so when in delay loop it is possible that current consumption is less. It also depends on the activity on other peripherals and IOs.
