Is there a way to know the DC link voltage using DRV8312 c2 kit?

Now I am doing the Sensorless Trapezoidal Control of BLDC Motors using DRV8312 c2 kit. In the demo code, the solution compared the star connection voltage referenced to ground with terminal voltage to get the zero crossing ponts. However in other papers I read, it seems to be better by comparing the terminal voltage with half of the DC link voltage. Now I am just wondering whether it is possible to get the DC link voltage using this particular kit. Thanks.

Hi Joey,

It appears that the DRV8312 hardware does support measuring the DC bus voltage (at ADC pin ADC-B2). In fact, it looks like the ADC is configured to sample the bus voltage - it just does not do anything with it in the software after the sample is completed.

Please take a look at the DRV8312 kit schematics in controlSUITE. You'll see the ADC peripheral configurations in the f2806xileg_vdc_BLDC.h file.
