Reset the F2837xS device when missing clock detected.

Hi everyone,

I want to reset the F2837xS device(Revision.C) when "missing clock detect logic" detected OSCCLK failure.

Does this device can CPU reset at the time of clock fail detection as Piccolo(F2806x) ?

I tried but this device has not been reset and program counter was infinite loop at PLL LOCK souce in "F2837xS_SysCtrl.c".

If I set NMICFG[NMIE], NMI interrupt has occurred.

Hi Mino,

To issue a software reset, write a bad key value to the watchdog control register: e2e.ti.com/.../21505. I think you should be able to do this inside the NMI.

I was able to reset in NMI interrupt. Thanks.

I understood that theF2837xS can't be reset directly when missing clock detected.
