How do you Load a F28M35 Register with a 32 bit relocatable symbolic address referenced in one routine and defined in the .bss section of another using the TI ARM Assembler?

Been there, done that. When I declare an uninitialized RAM variable (EXCEPT$SRV$CNT) as a .global or .ref in the routine I am trying to assemble I get the warning: relocation template 277 not found and an Error that EXCEPT$SRV$CNT is an Undefined Symbol. I've attached the routine I was trying to assemble along with the file containing the macros associated with it and the assembler error listing. What am I missing? Thanks for you time and efforts and any clarification you can give.assembler_error_out.txt
