C2000 based Solar Explorer Kit - connection problem (Piccolo F2803x)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Hello everyone!

I have a problem when running a gui application included in ControlSuite libraries, to be more accurate, this is a PVInverter_F2803x code. First things first..

I'm trying to use the incremental built no.2 aiming to use a bulb as a load and to do so, I followed these steps:

1. I used a connection scheme from the instruction as a refrence

2. I established a successful concetion via the JTAG interface

3. I set an appropriate built option

4. I used the right expressions with the q-values obtained from a main.c file

The point is that even though I change the light intensity, the only value to follow this change is the theoretical power of the panel.. The rest of the values remains equal to 0, regardless of any changes. And now I got a question for you:

Do you have any idea what went wrong? I have no clue what more can I do, since I followed the instructions step by step.. but maybe some of you have encountered a similar problem and managed to solve it.

Thank you for your answers!

  • Igor, did you try build level 1, section 4.1 ? or you started with build level 2 testing? the reason why i ask this is if build level 1 test was fine and build level 2 did what you mentioned above it can have different root causes.

Also make sure you enable real time mode as well,

Also do you see the LED blinking in the M5 section on the PCB, this is the c2000 controller that controls the panel emulator, and if it is not blinking that means the panel emulator is not programmed or has some issue. ...
