In the 28377d there is the IPC for cmunication. there also the GS0-15 RAM, CPU1TOCPU2RAM,CPU2TOCPU1RAM, throgh these ram the two cpu can exchange the data.

why there must have the IPC.what the purpose of IPC, Can you describe it for example. thank you！

Hi,

You are right. User can use GSx RAM to exchange the data between two CPUs. GSx RAMs are not available by default on CPU2 and also these are bigger block of RAMs and allocating full block for IPC may not be desired. To avoid such condition, specific MSG RAMs are provided for communication between different processors.
