TMS320F28379D: Change of PWM's frequency using the two CPUs

Part Number: TMS320F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD28379D

Hello,

I was using the board TMS320F28379D to control two h-bridges using one CPU to each bridge. It was working fine, but I migrated to a TMDSCNCD28379D board and now I'm having problems. I noticed that the PWMs located in the second CPU are having a change of frequency, producing a strange output.

I made a test to show this. I've put the a PWM with the same frequency and duty cycle in each CPU and I observed the signal in the oscilloscope. The PWM located in the first CPU have frequency of 25 kHz and the second have frequency of 27 kHz. Anyone could indicate a clue of what is causing the problem?

I'm sending the programs used in Simulink attached here with the configurations that I used.

Mainly configurations:

  • CPU clock : 192.5 Mhz
  • Oscillator clock frequency : 20 MHz
  • PWM - 25 kHZ with the High Resolution function

Any help wil be very appreciated .

Regards,

Jessé Augusto
