C2000WARE: Some questions on porting projects from controlSUITE to C2000Ware

Hello:

We had an old remote metering system based on C2000 DSPs and are going to do some upgrades to it. The original project was designed in late 2015 with SW package from controlSUITE. Now we plan to use C2000Ware to replace it.

We have a few questions about porting:

1.Is the device_support library API compatible? Can we directly change these library files directly from controlSUITE to C2000Ware?

2.Where are the support files of development_kits? In C2000Ware I can see them nowhere.

    1. Yes they are compatible in terms of structure but there could be updates to the content to accommodate for bug fixes and enhancements.

    Any device specifically ?

    2. They are under boards/

    Thank you for your help.

    1.We are using F28377D.

    2.I have checked the folder of c2000ware\boards, but it looks like the numer of kits here is much less than those in controlSUITE\development_kits. Expecially the one we need, BOOSTXL_POSMGR. We'd like to know if the libraries of it (like endat22 and so on) have an upgrade. I even doubt if there were referenced libraries in c2000ware.

    What's more, I'm searching for the referenced files of TIDM-SOMPLC-FCC(FW, ZeroConfigureGUI and so on). It is also a component that we use in our meter. But the link in your website has already failed.

    Do you know who is responsible for that kit? I have something else to consult with him.

    We directly cover original files with newer one in c2000ware and it works!

    As for position_manager lib, since NO further reply has been received from you, we give up finding the upgrade.
