TMS320F280041: Do we have to use TMS320F280041C to run the InstaSpin examples or is TMS320F280041 good enough?

Part Number: TMS320F280041

Hello TI,

We are thinking to develop a motor control board using your TMS320F280041PMS processor, and we want to use the InstaSpin examples as a starting point for application development.  I "thought" I saw somewhere that to support InstaSpin, we need to use TMS320F280041C.  Is that true?  After looking at the InstaSpin examples and the processor documentation, I cannot see why the "C" level processor would be a requirement.  I am hoping for some clarification.  Thank you.

Respectfully,

Scott
