Hi Chris,

I know you are just working to complete all the drivers for the next release. e.g. CAN Bus, SCI.

To complete my project i need CAN Bus.

Can you give me some code snippets for the CAN Bus driver or a Version of Motorware where CAN Bus is included.

Or any other help?.

I use the TMS320F28069M.

Haven't been ignoring you, looking for a solution.

Unfortunately I don't have one and can't commit to the CAN drivers being properly tested for next MotorWare release.

Only shot is to try to incorporate somethign from controlSUITE.

My apologies....MotorWare should be complete and it simply is not up to snuff on the \drivers

Now i am trying to port the CAN Bus driver in Motorware_12.

i think it is possible.

just copy and paste something ;-).

I have an inoffiziell version from Motorware 11 where CAN Bus driver is included but not testet.

Alex,

The CAN driver should be the same in _11 and _12. We have an effort to get all of the \drivers updated / tested. I know some changes have already been made on our repository, but nothing to CAN. I've reached out to some of our FAEs who I know are using CAN with their customers to see if they used MotorWare or if they implemented some other way if they have something they can share.

So apparently these FAEs are using the eCAN example from controlSUITE

We too are trying to enable CAN bus on motorware. Do you have any sample code we can use ? do the FEA use HAL for the eCAN conversion ?

We don't seem to get the interrupts generated properly even though CAN signals are coming in.

We'll have the updated baseline can.c/.h in the next MotorWare, but unfortunately I don't have anything I can share with you. Others are using the CAN files from controlSUITE. It's ugly to mix the two but it can work.

Hello Alex,

First let me thank you for your work on getting CAN operational on Motorware!

Few days ago I attempted to port your CAN_plus_Uart example posted somewhere here on the forum.
Since my Motorware is in version 13, I had to go through some tedious work of manually checking all those DRV to HAL updates introduced in the latest version. I managed to make a compilable port of your code - unfortunately once run it keeps hanging on:

       tempCANES = can->CANCTRL.CANES;
       tempCANES &= CANES_Bits_CCE;
   }while(tempCANES);

in CAN_setBitTime function.

I suspect that the problem is quite basic, but I will have to read some more register documentation to understand what's going on there (it seems that "can handle" is all zeros in all bits). Suggestions?
