By updating/customizing the codes back and forth, I messed up these files several times and of course, learned a lot as well. But, is there any link online from where I can find ORIGINAL of these files (I'm using MW_11), so that I don't need to ask for them from the forum?? since I don't think re-install will be the only solution...

I'll keep copies of them from next time :>

I do realize that they're available from the link file provided from:

...\sw\...\boards\...\F2806xM\docs

However, is there any of these could be downloaded and used directly.

1. You should really upgrade to _12. You must use _12 for any Induction Motors (which I think you are using) and there is a significant change with the renaming of the drv.c/.h files to hal.c/.h. We also added the variable checking to make sure scaling is all ok.

2. We don't keep the previous versions on a server because we don't want you using the previous versions. That is a recipe for trouble. I've zipped up jus the \sw folder (to keep it smaller) and attached.

Yeah... I also realized should step into MW_12 since my next motor project is about IM.

Actually, I'm summarizing/organizing the obtained results and what I learned from MW_11, and will get start MW_12 soon. To be honest, my MW_11 experience, during past months, was a smooth one (relatively, of course) and I worked with BLDC only.

So, should I uninstall MW_11 1st and then install MW_12? Or, directly install MW_12 under ti\motorware\ ?

which means MW's installation can be independent of ti ccs, gui, etc?

yes, as it should be.

Your CCS can also be installed in // (I have at least 5 versions on my machine).

And you can have various CCS workspaces, which are tied to the CCS version when you launch.
