No, it cannot. You need MCU type with F or M, for example F28027F to use Motorware.

You need to compare between F28027 and F28035.

1. First of all, you need to change the CMD files because their memories are different.

2. F28027 has no QEP, so everything related to QEP in the code should be commented in,

3. F28027 only has 8 PWM channels (compared to F28035 that has 12) so check whether the codes use more than 8 channels of PWM

4. F28027 only has 7 ADC channels (compared to F28035 that has 14) so check whether the codes use more than 7 channels of ADC

5. F28027 only has 20 GPIOs so check whether the using of GPIOs in the code are exeeded the available pins.

I think the rest, they are the same.
