Hello team,

I have a couple questions on our Three Phase BLDC & PMSM Motor Kits I was hoping you could help me with:

Does the DRV8302-HC-C2-KIT support the FOC functions? If so, how do we implement it?

What controlCARD (F28069 or F28035) is compatible with the DRV8302-HC-C2-KIT and the DRV8301-69M-KIT respectively?

    it is supported by controlSUITE based sensorless (SMO) FOC

    The DRV8302 ships with 28035ISO with software support. 28069ISO is also supported with software project (Build Configuration --> Set Active).

    There is also a DRV8301-HC-C2-KTI version that support the same.

    The -69M-KIT version is the same inverter as DRV8301-HC, but includes a different controlCARD 28069MISO which is supported by MotorWare and the InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION solutions.  This inverter can also accept the 28027F (with external emulator) and 28054MISO controlCARDs

    our newer kits are

    LAUNCHXL-F28069M and LAUNCHXL-F28027F

    which can be paired with

    BOOSTXL-DRV8301

    and a new upcoming BOOSTXL-DRV8305
