Hi
I have two samples of my homemade Three Phase BLDC Motor Kit with DRV8312 and F28069M.
One of them works ok, but in the other an error appears when I click the green Run arrow in the debugger:

Any idea of what could be the problem? In theory should be the two equal.

the device hasn't booted properly. may have been assembled incorrectly or damaged.

I tried to change the microcontroller, but the error persists.

Could be some other IC?

You say you have (2) DRV8312 kits therefore you have (2) 28069 ControlCARDs. Is this correct?

Does this error occur on both ControlCARDs?

Have your tested each ControlCARD in the (2) different DRV8312 kits?

Are the jumpter settings the same for both cards? Do you get the same results when loading RAM or FLASH?

Have you tried loading TI example code?

Not exactly, in my homemade design the DRV8312 kit and the 28069 ControlCARD are integrated in the same PCB.
The evaluation board that I bought works fine.

The results are the same loading RAM or FLASH.

And yes, I am trying to load the TI example codes.

Can you set breakpoints at the start of your code and run to these breakpoints?

By moving these BPs from the main() and further into your, you find where the code is having an issue.

Need to conform that the code entry point at reset is correct and the code actually does get to main().

I found the problem. I changed the microcontroller again and now works.

Can you tell me what was the problem? I am having the same issue and i am loading TI sample codes using my DRV8312-C2 Kit.

Connecting to the target board requires a close look at the target configuration within CCS. You do not need to load code to verify your connection. You only need to have a correct target configuration file for your board and then connect to the target using this file. From the deub view you can connect to the target, halting the PC.

This is a key step to verify your configuration before trying to load code.

This problem seems to come and go. Without any modification on the code. (or the target configuration file).
