Newmotech Motor and TMDSHVMTRINSPIN

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSHVMTRINSPIN, CONTROLSUITE

Will the TMDSHVMTRINSPIN control the following BLDC Motor

Nemotech Com 700 DC1-00125B

DC 310V 0.67 HP 1.8 Amp

1000 RPM 3P

I am told this motor has 24 pole pairs and uses Hall sensors for position.

thanks

Russell Conner

  • yes, shouldn't be a problem. for the 310V you will need to provide 310Vdc to the kit. If you use a 110Vac line input you will only get ~165Vdc on the bus.

none of the InstaSPIN-FOC / -MOTION projects use Hall sensors for commutation though. They are fully sensorless or use Encoder feedback.
  • How would one connect the 310vdc to the kit, purchase or build a power supply?  Is there a cut sheet  on the controller showing motor lead connections and bus power input showing allowable voltages?  I could not find this in the support material on the TMDSHVMTRINSPIN page.

    thanks

  • there is a DC input (banana jacks) if you want to bypass the AC input.  Yes, you would need a DC power supply.

The documentation for this EVM (TMDSHVMTRINSPIN TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT are the same inverter board) is in controlSUITE at
