InstaSpin Motion with Analog Encoder

InstaSPIN-MOTION can work with nearly any type of encoder. The example code is only provided for quadrature encoders.

You would need to write code that would translate the signals from your encoder into the correct signals expected by InstaSPIN-MOTION.

Specifically the electrical angle is what is required. The electrical angle should be a Q24 value that varies between 0 and 1 where 0 is aligned to an electrical angle of 0 on the motor (A phase is aligned with d-axis).

I found the project TIDA-00176, but there is no example of the source code.

this file can be found in the examples, but this is not the source code. And can not integrate this into MotorWare.

right you are...I think for support reasons they don't like to provide source with TI Designs. It's just supposed to be software that shows the HW is working.

I'm trying to find the owner of the design to see if they can share with you.

Thank you for your interest in TIDA-00176. We used that specific code only test validate the TI design.
