Hi all,

I run the lab21 from motorware base on HVKit and F28069M. When I set "gMotorVars.Flag_enableSys" and “gMotorVars.Flag_Run_Identify" equal to 1, I just hear some noise, not any other reaction. I adjust the "

IPD_HFI_EXC_FREQ_HZ", but the result is the same. The motor I use is saliency: Ld=6.5mH, Lq = 9.5mH; Do I nedd more operation about this Lab?

I read the rotor position from the variable "angle_pu" in the debug window, is this right?

How to judge whether the lab operation successfully?

There is two phases, IPD and HFI for low speed. You need to adjust both the excitation frequency and magnitude for IPD, adjust wait time and Kp for HFI based your motor. And the lab only support a PMSM with obvious saliency.

Thanks for your reply. If these parameters are OK, will the motor spin? and how to set the speed reference? Do I need to adjust the AFSEL module?

Yes, you have to adjust these parameters based motor, we only tuned this project using a saliency low voltage motor with DRV8301 kit in lab.
