Question:

Is there a mW/DMIPS number for the C2000 devices?

Answer:

There is no simple mA/MHz relationship in power (on most devices today).  You can calculate mA/MHz at a given MHz and temperature, but the relationship is not linear. There are three basic components to power:

1) Dynamic Active Power:  This is dependent on MHz and hence mA/MHz makes sense for this portion. The total active power depends on what peripherals are active and how much activity is present (how much work the CPU and peripherals are doing).

2) Leakage Power: In finer technology nodes, as temperature rises, the transistors leak more and more current

3) Fixed Active Power: There are active components in a device (like Flash Pump on a Flash device) which will consume a given power regardless of MHz.

All the information can be found in the device data sheet, but there is no simple mA/MHz figure that makes sense.
