Hi i need to use HECC in TMS470R1B1M controller. In the file 'tms470r1b1m_bit_definitions.h' i could not see the bit definitions related to the HECC. To use HECC with this .h file, should i define the additional bit positions or any other alternatives possible?

    Hello Vivek:

I am not certain of the origin of the tms470r1b1m_bit_definitions.h file that you mention. Doing some searching on ti.com and on our internal web, I was not able to locate it. Can you tell me where this file originated?

Origin of the file aside, I would believe the best path is to create your own, separate header file for HECC and include it in your c files that use HECC.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Chuck Davenport

    Hello Vivek,

I hope that the above answer was sufficient for you to work through your issue. Due to the time since this post was entered and the inactivity since then, the thread will be closed.

Since the tms470r1b1m device is offered through our High Reliability group, I would suggest you post inquiries about the R1B1M device to the High Reliability E2E located at the following link.
