hi ti,

i m working with tms570lc4357

i jus loaded the emac with lwip demo code but it s not working. i did all the hardware setup mentioned in the user guide

im facing “ERROR INITIALIZING HARDWARE” problem

is there something to be enabled additionally?

its working now. i just connected to the ethernet port directly without connecting to pc...

i need some advice to modify things.

1. when i searched for the ip address 10.169.30.5 TEXAS INSTRUMENTS page opened... it s the static image and i ve to change that image... so where should i modify the code??

2. how to work with static ip configuration?

i couldn't find at which speed ethernet demo code is working.. 10Mbps or 100Mbps??

in Wiki it has been mentioned that "Examples are provided for HTTP server, UDP based client and echo server". But i dint find any example for UDP server. if u ve any example based on UDP plz share it.

MACCONTROL reg 15th bit =0 ; hence speed is 10Mbps....

for static ip addressing, i did the change as follows

ipAddr = lwIPInit(0, macAddress, ip_addr, net_mask, gateway, IPADDR_USE_STATIC);

i got the output as

is this correct??

This looks correct - but to be honest we don't have a lot of expertise w. lwIP here other than someone having made the low level driver work w. the EMAC.

For higher level questions like in the area of protocols you probably would be better off looking at the lwIP community - they have some wikis and mailing lists at the bottom of the page. http://www.nongnu.org/lwip/
