RM48L952 HET pin muxing

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Hello.

I'm using RM48L952ZWT and try to get a interrupt signal(push button) on N2HET1[31] pin(J17). I configured interrupt settings in HALCoGen. But it has never entered ISR even the signal is watched on an oscilloscope. I had tested N2HET2[6](M1) with same thing and it did work very well.

There are 2 pins for N2HET1[31] as J17 and W9. Is it needed any configuration for using J17? Could you explain this situation and what I missed?

Best Regards,

Wonjae Kim.

  • Hi Wonjae,

Here, J17 is the dedicated pin and W9 is the muxed pin. In HALCoGen (for RM48xx), if you enable output muxing for a pin, input muxing will also be enabled. So, I'm guessing in your case, you have enabled all N2HET1 pins in the pinmuxing tab. So, input muxing has also been enabled. Just go to the pinmuxing tab and unselect N2HET1[31] for W9 pin. Now you should be able to use J17 pin for input. Please try if this works.

  • Hello,

I had tried to unselect the N2HET1[31](W9) in pinmux tab. But it didn't work.

Is there any difference between using W9 and J17 for N2HET1[31]? For example, N2HET1[31] with J17 pin can't use for input pin.

  • Hi again,

Are you using the pin as GIO pin or N2HET pin? Check if HR SHARE is enabled for N2HET1[31] pin (It is enabled by default for [31]). Just turn off HR SHARE for the pin and try again. This could be why you're not getting interrupts.

    Thanks and Regards,
