How to run Hercules Safety MCU Demos?

Hi,

We are not able to run the Hercules Safety MCU Demos on Launchpad.

LaunchPad used -> LAUNCHXL-TMS57004 (Rev B)
Hercules Safety MCU Demo version -> 4.0.0 (latest from website)
Software -> Have tried with both factory programmed software and
also tried to re-program with TMS570LS04x_demo_software.out

Com Port on the Device manager seems ok.

The Demo GUI always says "Connection to the microcontroller has been lost"

What else settings is it necessary to run the Demo?
I Tried to reset(PORRST) and re-launch the GUI many times but doesn't work.

Hi Kummi,

The problem you see is documented in the wiki page () shown below. Can you please close the demo GUI on the PC side and relaunch it again?

Thank you for the reply.

As mentioned in my post I have tried to close the demo GUI
and relaunch many times.
Have tried the same with factory programmed software and
also re-programed with TMS570LS04x_demo_software.out....
But nothing works.

Also I have tried this demo GUI with more than two LaunchPads.
We appreciate if you could test on your bench and let us know if it works.

Hi Charles,

It is working...

I was executing the "TMS570LS04 Launchpad Safety Demos.exe" instead of
"Hercules Safety MCU Demos.exe".
