TMS570LC43x Flash Bank Selection?

According the tech manual, the 43X MCU has two banks of flash that are 2MB in size. Is there a way to change which bank is used as the program boot location? We are looking at an application where we want to update the software in the field without access to the JTAG. What would be ideal is an external pin that could be used as a bank selection.

    No there is no such mechanism. The possibilities are to use the POM (Parameter Overlay module) to remap the vectors or to switch Flash and RAM. The main software would have to recognize the request and invoke the POM or switch the RAM and Flash space.
