Also, it would be helpful if they fix the example codes for TMS570LC43x since most of them don't seem to work and have some minor modifications required for them to work. I tried using the example codes in my LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 development kit with no positive result.

Can you be more specific on which device you are seeing the crashing in the HalCogen VIM channel tab? When it crashes, what exactly happens? This will help the HalCoGen team to understand the issue.

I am using HP 440 G2 laptop running a 64bit Windows 10 OS, for enabling the VIM to RTI Compare 0, when I open the VIM Channel 0-31 tab in HALCoGen 4.06.00, the software crashes.
As mentioned earlier, the same doesn't happen in HALCoGen 4.05.01 which I am using now, so most probably it's a software bug.

I hope you picked the device TMS570LC4357ZWT to create the project in HALCoGen. I was unable to recreate the issue at my end.

Did it happen after you did any special configuration? Or when you opened a project created with older version of HALCoGen?

Does the same issue happen in a newly created HALCoGen project (using version 4.6.0)?

Yes, I picked the TMS570LC4357ZWT device to create the project in HALCoGen 4.06.00. The software kept crashing as soon as I opened the VIM Channel 0-31 tab. This happened irrespective of when I opened it and with whatever or no settings made prior to it. As I have mentioned I tried it in compatibility mode, normal mode and tried to run it any way I could but it kept crashing. I had to switch to 4.05.01 to be able to use VIM Channel 0-31 for enabling Vim Channel 2 (RTI Compare 0).

I re-installed the HALCoGen 4.06.00 to see the XML files, but now the problem doesn't seem to happen.
