TMS570LS1224: Capturing with NHET1[11] is not working

The 2nd PCNT is used to measure the period, the pin 11 (10+1) is used in the PCNT instruction.  Please route the HET1[11] to NET1[10] DIN:

I discovered I'm using HET1_10 as capture input as well, I tried to disable that functionality on HET1_10 but still I have the same issue with HET1_11. Any idea? Thank you!

Hi Keno,

The capture code generated through HALCoGen uses 2 PCNT instructions, and uses the two HR structures of selected pin (n, even number, for example 0,2,4..) and n+1 pin (odd, for example 1,3,5,...). The pin used for capture has to be an pin with even number, so the pin 11 and pin 19 will not work.

The HR Share Control Register (HETHRSH) allows two HR structures to share the same pin for input
capture. If you use pin 0 for input capture, the pin 1(0+1) is also used by the 2nd PCNT, so please set the bit 0 of HETHRSH (did in the diagram in my last post).

Based on this HET1_19 should not work but I can use it for capturing. Also I should be able to use HET2_18 (same pin as HET1_11) but it's not working. Any idea? Thank you!
