CCS/TMS570LS0432: error led Is always on

Hello.

I have built a custom board for the TMS570LS0432 with the schematics of the LaunchPad as a reference. The issue that I am facing is that the ERROR LED (connected to the NERROR Pin) is always ON when the board is powered up. Pressing the RESET pins does not have any effect on the LED. Added to this, I am also not able to upload any code through the JTAG Debugger.

Kindly help me resolve this issue.

Kartik,

Please check whether all the power, clock and reset connections are okay. nERROR gets reset on a power-on-reset and could get asserted again once nPORRST is released, depending on the code running in the MCU.

Are you able to connect to the part via JTAG at all?

Hello.

I shall recheck the power,clock and reset signals again.

No, I have not been able to connect the through the JTAG. Hence I haven't uploaded any code as of now.

Kartik,
Is your problem resolved now? Did you check the power/reset/clock signals on your PCB?
