TMS570LS1227: Use of Self-Test Mode to Determine Open/Short on ADC Input Channels

Part Number: TMS570LS1227

Hi,

TRM SPNU515C–March 2018, section 22.8.2.1 Use of Self-Test Mode to Determine Open/Short on ADC Input Channels.

Table 22-4. Determination of ADC Input Channel Condition

Is it possible to give a recommended threshold value for checks against approx. ADREFLO and approx. ADREFHI for use in analysing Vn, Vu and Vd? This could perhaps as a percentage of ADREFLO and ADREFHI, or perhaps as a voltage?

Regards, Tony

  • Hello,
We don't have recommended threshold values. For example datasheet gives only maximum possible value for Rmux. In Self test scenarios Rmux could play role and when it is not defined it is not possible to define precise values. R1 and R2 are with approximate values as well.

    Best regards,
    Miro
