TMS570LC4357: Unable to force an ESM group 2 error

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

I am trying to force an ESM group 2 error in order to test our system's response to these errors. I have been unable to force an error. Does anyone know a reliable method of achieving an ESM group 2 error.

Note that I need to have the error appear on a running system rather than during start-up.

Never mind. I figured it out just after I asked for help. Hate it when that happens. I have activated the watchdog by calling

dwdCounterEnable(rtiREG1);

in my initialization and then I can generate a channel 24 error by ceasing to call

dwdReset(rtiREG1);

Hope this helps someone else so it wasn't a complete waste of everybody's time :)
