TMS570LC4357: EMIF_nDQM[0] no in input multiplexing table

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

Hello,

Please refer to page 37 of the tms570lc4357 Datasheet, there it states that EMIF_nDQM[0] can be on ball E10 or B13. Then at the bottom of the table it says that the ball can be chosen as the input multiplexing table indicates , but in the input multiplexing table EMIF_nDQM[0 does not appear (same for DQM[1] and other EMIF signals). Is it possible that in a new device the DQM0 signal is by default in B13? How can I change or make sure that it is in E10?

Best wishes

Tony

  • Hello,

nDQM[0] is output and can be routed to E10 or B13. Table 4-28. Output Multiplexing is where this is described.

N2HET[19], when configured as input can be routed to B13 or G3 as stated in Table 4-29. Input Multiplexing.

    Best regards,
    Miro

  • Tony,

nDQM[x] are outputs from the MCU on the external memory interface, so there is no input multiplexing specified. You must configure the output multiplexing to define which ball the EMIF_nDQM[0] signal appears on.
