1.     I am looking to use the SM470R1B1M-HT to control a BLDC motor using trapezoidal feedback with sensors. This is quite a simple algorithm that can be done on 8 bit microcontrollers. Do you know of any third party support for BLDC motor control on the SM470?

    Hello Rob,

The Hercules business unit is working with a third party in China for a brushed DC reference design.  If you are still interested in this, please reply.

    Rob,

We will begin a basic trapezoidal project in our own lab after the first of the year.  I do not have an update on the third party's brushed system.
