Hi everybody. My english is not very good. I'm working with pressure sensors, and i'm using a TMS470R1B1M board. First, i would like to do an analog-digital conversion of my sensors responses, and then control the analog input of the ADC with the program, and modifies the output of the...

  • Forum Post: Re: EMIF Unused Pins for GIO

    Anthony Vaughan Anthony Vaughan
This is correct, the EMIF pins on the TMS570 BGA devices do not have GIO capability. If you need additional GIO pins on the TMS570 BGA package you can configure the RTP and DMM modules/pins for use as GIO. More information about these modules can be found on pages 1817 and 1887 of the TMS570LS Series...

Hi, The TRM does not say that the EMIF pins can be used for GIO. Can you please confirm that this is the case, EMIF pins do not have GIO capability. Regards, Tony.

    Tony Morrell Tony Morrell
Hi, I am using the multiplexed DMMDATA[15:2] and MIBSPI5 pins for general purpose output. These pins are configured as GPIO outputs in both DMM and MIBSPI5 registers. My problem is that a write of output data to DMMPC4 (set high) or DMMPC5 (set low) appears to have no effect at the output pin....

  • Forum Post: Re: NHET pins as GPIO

    Christian Herget Christian Herget
Hi Jut, as Sunil already said, the NHET module has speacial registers to use the port as GIO and no NHET program is necessary to use them as GIO. If you are using HalCoGen, you can use the GIO drivers of HalCoGen for this purpose. The following Code will set the HET pin 0..5 as output, and than...

Hello, one datasheet (SPNS162. – SEPTEMBER 2011) says: Both GIOA and GIOB support external interrupt capability. But another datasheet (SPNU499) says that only GIOA can invoke interrupt. Is there any chance to invoke interrupt on processor TMS570LS3137 through GIO pins B ? This could be very...

TMS570 - the Microcontroller having clock rate of 160 MHz, capable to carry out the instruction for 6-12 nanoseconds, has the developed fast periphery. And control of this periphery is carried out with a time delay in hundreds nanoseconds, and it not only operation with GIO. Controler operation with...

Hello. On TMS570LS3137 it is necessary to implement fast switching of GIO. When using existing ports it turned out to reach switching speed at least 280 nanoseconds after the beginning of execution of the instruction. The main time occupies execution of the instruction of STR. Whether use of other instruction...

Hello, I am trying to use the DRV 8301 kit to read an digital input pin, and by looking at the schematics it seems that GIOA1 (pin 32 on the DIMM) is available for this functionality, but I am unable to get any response from the pin. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? As a frame of reference...
