    Hi all,

I need to blow the fuse of a MSP430G2131 with MSP-FET430UIF connected by SBW.

Firmware of MSP-FET430UIF is the latest 3.02.03.002 and cable is as requested, I can program and read the firmware of MSP430G2131.

When I give the command to blow the fuse (from latest version of IAR or FET-Pro430) no high voltage exits from wire TEST/VPP (checked with oscilloscope).

I changed the firmware of MSP-FET430UIF to old 2.04.09.001 and it blows the fuse.

    Has someone the same problem?

or it is a my problem due to using a VMware virtual machine?

Now I have to use 2 MSP-FET430UIF one for program and one for blowing fuse.

    thanks!

    Fabio

This REP430F SBW connection to MSP430G2211 is confusing to me thread mentions a bug with the MSP-FET430UIF firmware about a failure to blow the fuse.
