Hello, can you please help me address the customer question below?
Thanks - Todd
I recently received an MSP GANG programmer which I am trying to configure. We are currently using the MSP430F5528 and I am having trouble programming our device. It seems that the application/programmer is not erasing the BSL even though it says it succeeds if you press erase by itself. However, when you go back and read the memory the BSL is still there.Or if you try and program it says Blank check err @1000 which is where the BSL starts.
Hi,
This issue has been resolved by Elpotronics.
Need need to reply.

Hi Todd,
it would be kind if you could share your knowledge - maybe someone else as a similar problem ;-)

Found any horribly english mistakes? - Drop me a note as private conversation via my profile if you like ;-)
Elprotronics has already answered back and given me a new build of the MSP GANG Application.
There seemed to have been a bug that was preventing the erasing/detecting of the BSL sections.
They didn’t say when they were going to release this new build but it’s an FYI in case you hear someone else have this problem.
How can we get this upgrade. I am running into this same issue and am in an urgent need to program the BSL for production in two weeks. This is a very big bug!
So to everyone else who comes across this bug, the update on TI's MSP-GANG (not MSP-GANG430!) page has the new version you can download. TI, I like the new GUI and GANG programmer, but an auto update checker would be nice to add!

Sometimes the obvious solution is the simplest and fastest.
