"CC430 EM + USB programmer" kit

I found another CC430 based kit which combines the EM430F6137RF900 eval module with the MSP-FET430UIF programmer. This kit has the part number FET430F6137RF900.

I want to buy this kit. It's $50 cheaper than buying two parts separately. What's weird is that the TI website shows this kit's status as preview, whereas the two individual parts' status is active.

Has anyone managed to purchase this kit so far ?

TI, what's going here ? I want to buy !

The FET430F6137RF900 should become available on our eStore/orderable in a few weeks, thanks for the patience. We are currently in the build process for this part (driven by component lead times). Should you have any questions/concerns, send me a PM

Thanks for your quick reply, I will be watching for the release of this kit. It wasn't obvious to me how to PM you, but others here may have the same question.

I noticed in TI doc SLAU278B (Aug 2009), section 1.11, which describes this kit's contents. There is no mention of a cable being supplied to connect the RF module to the USB programmer. Yet section 1.17 step 1 mentions a 14 conductor cable.

Is this just an oversight, will a JTAG cable come with the kit ?

Section 1.11 in SLAU278B will be modified to include the cable, the cable will be included in the kit. Thanks for pointing out the oversight...

Hi, is there any update on the availability of the FET430F6137RF900? It is still listed as 'Preview' and it has been a while since the last forum post.
