Richard,
the MSP430 is a 16-bit architecture, but I think you are referring to C compiler support, no? If so, IAR Embedded Workbench allows you to perform both 64-bit integer ("[unsigned] long long") as well as floating point (by setting "double" to 64-bit) arithmetic and storage.

Andreas
Yes, that's why I said math. (for the compiler to be able to handle 64-bit math)
I purchased TI Code Composer, does that not handle 64-bit?
Richard,
our current CCSv4 for MSP430 unfortunately doesn't support 64-bit math; however this is on our backlog of things we want to add in. What kind of math do you need to perform? If it is basic integer math you could workaround this limitation by creating some C and/or ASM functions to do the processing.

Andreas
I can write 64-bit implementations for math, but I was kinda hoping that someone in TI would do it for me.
