Hello,

   It's annoying that one must download and install the whole MSP430Ware just to view the Peripheral User's Guide. It (and other MSP430Ware PDF documentation) should be available for direct download at the MSP430Ware product page. Sometimes I don't want to download the whole MSP430Ware package, or I may be on my mac, but I want to brows the user's guide.

    Which PDF documentation are you referring to? The MSP430 DriverLib API User's Guide? If so it is available from the DriverLib download page for each DriverLib family.

    I'm confused - what is the difference between MSP430Ware and the MSP430 Driverlib? It seems like they do the same thing.

    Derek,

    We get this question a lot and need to start communicating this better. MSP430Ware is just a collection of MSP430 related tools. It includes software libraries developed by TI, various software examples, layout/schematic of some of our evaluation boards, documentation, etc...

    The MSP430 Driver Library is a software library developed by TI that includes APIs for interacting with the peripherals on various MSP430 devices.

    MSP430 Driver Library is included in MSP430Ware. Along with several other software libraries and resources.
