  • USCIB0 can be used for I2C, if the MSP has an USCIB0, if the pins are not used for something else and if you program it properly. (this is the extended answer to your question, the short one would have been “yes”.)

    However, the functionality of the USCIB is explained in detail in the users guide for the family of your MSP (2x, 4x, F5x/6x or FR5x/6x).

    Any known bug is listed in the errata sheet for your MSP.
